How I Busted Casey Lynn Turner Fake MySpace

I used several resources to bust this fake wanna be “Casey Lynn Turner”. Some services are paid services but are well worth the $15 you will spend. This is a great way to get info on someone.

Just enter their phone number and let ‘er rip!

Other resources included property appraisers websites here in Florida (she claimed to own a condo), and public records in Texas where she claimed she had a month long rape trial.

But seriously the phone records did the trick me me!

So I decided to humor myself with this a little bit. I mean, why not have some fun with this. The funnier part is I am sure “Casey” has checked this blog since it has been live at some point.

Well without further ado, I present you the real “Casey Lynn Turner” suspects.

My guess is that she is a fat, overweight, mental patient who has a crush on Mike Rowe, Kenny Cheney, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (she did tell you those stories right?)

So I still have been getting emails from various guys and girls about the whole “Casey” situation. Some people have been contacted or contacted “Casey” via text message or whatever.

I just tried calling her phone and it has now been cut off.

When I did the reverse phone lookup on her it came back as a prepaid phone with sprint/nextel.

I do not expect to ever really hear from this sick person again. However if any of you do get contacted. I would love to hear.

Tonight I will possibly post some pictures of the actual “casey” we could have been really talking to over the phone. Obviously I do not have real pics but it should be for a good laugh.

The Lies She Told and How I Found Her.

I have put together a little list of the lies and drastic stories “Casey” told to me and several others.

1. Her “Grammy” died.
2. She was raped along with 5 other girls in Texas.
3. Her sister-in-law “Jenni”, who was her younger brother “Dale’s” wife disappeared and went missing.
4. She had custody of “Hailey” since her sister-in-law was AWOL.

Lessons learned

Wow, the phone calls and Myspace thank you messages have been flooding in. I never expected that when I reached out to the strangers on “Caseys” page that I would find such a variety of people she had wrapped up in this same web of lies.

The biggest thing I can learn from all of this is be careful online. Not that I needed to be told that as long as I have been working online. But wow this girl was a professional.

To all of you in disbelief as the famous comedian Bill Engvall would say “Here’s Your Sign“.

Top ten ways signs to spot a fake profile.

1. Avoids meeting you – always having a good excuse.
2. Does not chat on video (aim, yahoo, skype)
3. No proof photos (holding signs newspaper etc)
4. You do not know any of her friends in person.
5. New to the local area. With lots of random friends from all over USA.
6. Avoids meeting you. Oops I already mentioned that.
7. Lot of cropped photos.
8. Photos of lots of friends all of which appear in the photos yet do not comment her page and are not even friends.
9. Too good to be true. Sorry guys some of us have to admit she was too good to be true. LOL!
10. You have cool friends and family who put together enough solid evidence to expose a fake sociopath.

So here is the deal. If you are reading this blog you were probably contacted because you too are friends with this sick girl. On MySpace she goes by the name of “Casey Lynn Turner“.

I feel like a complete idiot. I have been using social networking websites to chat with friends, classmates, business partners and yes the occasional hot sexy stranger for maybe 5-6 years now. I am a pretty smart guy when it comes to computers and spotting fakes online. Not this time though!

If it were not for such a caring loving sister and mother and great friends; this could have gone on longer and longer – eventually driving me into a MENTAL WARD! Haha – more about that later!

So here is the story.

I met “Casey” online back on July 8th 2008 when she posted the following bulletin titled FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS.

Statistically speaking, unless you are a total hermit, social retard, or ugly as a bag of spoiled monkey food… There’s at least 1 person on your myspace that wants to date you or sleep with you.

So I thought I would be different and respond with a non-related answer, but never expected to get a response or even a “Girlfriend” from all this… Here is my response to her bulletin on June 8th.
